My name is Jessie and I teach first grade at Pinehurst Elementary.   I have worked at this school for 7 years now, and I am in my 12th year of teaching.   I was excited and proud to represent our school this year as the teacher of the year.  I was also awarded Alternate Teacher of the Year for Moore County Schools .    I love integrating play, technology, and STEM into my weekly lesson plans.   Reaching children's emotional needs is also a big part of my teaching style.   I feel very blessed to be able to love on kids day after day and watch them grow and learn.
